- Prices in Euros are as displayed on our Languedoc property, so when buying a permanent home of Buying Rental Property, there are no hidden charges. Our commission is included and available at our office in Beziers, when you visit. A currency converter for £sterling is available subject to exchange rate variation and updated weekdays.
- The buying rental property or homes for sale in the South of France makes no allowance for sale of your own property i.e. chains are rare. A loan agreed in principle with a lender will permit you to make an offer on Languedoc property. Without you are not in a position to buy and the agent will not pass your offer forward. The loan process can take weeks, don't waste your own and others time. Have this agreed in principle beforehand, in the UK or France.
- We have links with lenders in the UK & for those interested in Homes for sale in the south of France.
- Once in France, prior to the visit, we will ask you to sign a 'Bon de Visite' or a 'Mandat de Recherche', a normal process in France. This 'Bon de Visite' protects the privacy of the property owner as well as the local agents commission - it does not bind you to the purchase. A 'Mandat de Recherche' gives us the power to search for a property on your behalf - please ask for details when asking us to search for property in advance of your visit.
- As in the UK, legal fees by notaires are additional, and payable by you the purchaser. We will guide you on this and the role of notaires who are French Government appointed lawyers, when buying rental property or one of our homes for sale in the south of France.

Tips for buying homes for sale in the south of France
- Viewing in the summer months can be tiring in the summer heat. Dress suitably and come equipped with water and refreshments when travelling. The Languedoc Roussillon is mostly Mediterranean climate, notably our region.
- Travel at least a day beforehand and see some of the area. An ideal stay would be 3 or 4 weekdays to allow for second viewings, and allow a day for paperwork, at the end. You will need a French bank account also.
- We are often unable to make appointments on the spur of the moment, so don't make your journey to the Languedoc Roussillon without an appointment.
- Please remember no agency or vendor likes to re schedule appointments. This may lead to disappointment. Appointments can be held for a short while whilst travel arrangements are made.
- Developing a relationship with us allows you the opportunity to feel more comfortable prior to setting out on buying rental property or one of our homes for sale.
- In the Languedoc Roussillon property visits are best made as a couple. To make a decision on homes for sale in the south of France heat with children or family members around is distracting. 2nd visits are preferable for families.
- Distances are in the Languedoc Roussillon long, our small part of the region alone can take an hour to drive across.
