With our background as search and relocation agents in France we have plenty of experience to help purchasers with the following where required :-

Opening of French Bank accounts - utility companies in France require all property owners whether resident or non resident (second home owners) to hold a bank account in France; the formalities for this are fairly straight forward when opening personal accounts and aid can be given with this process where required. There are also accounts that can be opened on line but we do not always advise this as proximity and convenience to a local bank not far from your French property are often one of the reasons for choosing a particular account.

Transfer of Utilities - We will arrange where requested for utilities to be transferred into your name from the previous owners

Telephone and Internet - Help can be given in these areas although an hourly fee will be charged. Please note France Telecom via its website has an English speaking service that you may find helpful.

Insurance - Property Insurance in France again is obligatory. Help will be given to insure your property as part of our normal service and wherever possible we will try and give unbiased and helpful advice. 

Tradesmen and in particular Builders, Decorators, Tilers, Pool installers - We have links with a number of local French artisans who we have found over the years we can trust. Assistance will be given but where translation and liason are requested charges will be made. Please ask for details.
